Elio is a renowned expert in capital markets, specialising in securitisations involving a wide range of assets, covered bond issues and finance.

Over the last few years, his focus has been on extraordinary transactions involving impaired assets (non-performing loans and UTPs) and the creation of servicing platforms for the management of such assets, as well as in relation to the establishment of innovative platforms for the sale and management of non-performing loans and UTPs (Project Cuveé, Efesto Fund), advising funds, servicers and banks, and has been involved in the most significant transactions performed in Italy (Project Fino, Project Savoy, Project M, Project Cuveè).

He also advises domestic and international investment banks, servicers and financial institutions in connection with securitisation transactions benefiting from the Italian Sate guarantee for non-performing loans (GACS), and investment product and bond issuances. Moreover, he handles the structuring of covered bond issue programmes and liability management transactions.
