Veronica is a real estate lawyer. She has significant expertise in the real estate industry with experience of over twenty years working closely with the main players in the real estate sector. She assists primary Italian and overseas investors, corporate clients, public entities, real estate investment funds, developers and lenders in all legal aspects relating to domestic and cross border real estate transactions.
She is specialized in the most recurrent contractual structures, like for example real estate acquisitions and disposals, joint venture agreements, strategic alliances for the development of real estate projects, turnkey construction contracts, large commercial leases, business leases and management agreements, as well as in complex real estate and restructuring transactions relating to distressed assets. She has extensive experience in administrative law, and assists Italian and international clients on development projects, also on the issuance of the relevant building titles (including the relevant zoning instruments) and authorisations, with specific expertise in zoning, building and environmental matters.
Veronica has held posts for several years as a professor of law at Politecnico University of Milan and as professor of law at University of Bergamo for master degrees. She has published extensively on zoning and environmental matters and is on the board of directors of the Italian legal review “Rivista Giuridica dell’Ambiente” (Environmental Law Journal). In 2021 she was awarded the prize “deal maker of the year awards 2021” issued by The Lawyer-Finance Monthly (British magazine), as leading expert in the real estate sector in Italy.
