Nicola practises in the areas of banking and finance, with a particular focus on structured finance. He advises arrangers, originators, servicers, noteholders and representatives of the noteholders on securitisation transactions backed by a wide range of asset classes (including transactions benefitting from the GACS, partly-paid notes and revolving structures) and on covered bonds. He focuses on transactions involving impaired assets (non-performing loans and UTPs) and the implementation of servicing platforms for the management of such assets as well as in connection with the creation of innovative platforms for the sale and management of non-performing loans and UTPs. He has also gained experience in litigation in relation to civil and commercial law matters.
