Michele has extensive experience in banking, insurance and financial regulation and he deals with transactions in the capital market, derivatives and financing, as well as corporate and financial advisory. Michele is also involved in corporate governance and M&A operations and has a deep understanding of energy market dynamics, with a specific focus on energy transition and sustainable finance. Michele has been the chairman of Enel (the largest European utility, present in 31 countries, and leader in the energy transition, with very high rankings in all the main ESG indexes), also charing the governance and sustainability committee, and has been actively involved in the engagement with institutional investors (including major US funds) on ESG matters and strategy.
